Greg Beckett is the author of 18 filed 13 granted US patents . In 1989, Mr. Beckett co-founded and was the President of TSX-V listed Beckett Technologies Corp., a microwave food packaging company, which had a market cap of $198,000,000. In 1997 Mr. Beckett started Beckett Capital Corp., a securities dealer licensed with the Ontario Securities Commission. Beckett Capital's name was later changed to Kingsdale Capital Corporation in 2001 (www.kingsdalecapital.com ).
In 2006 Mr. Beckett became the President of Richmond Club Corp , which is a media company that showcases companies that are in the Richmond Club Index. The Index has ranged in performance from 24% - 137% annualized growth since its inception in January of 2005. These companies are showcased to the general public and the Richmond Club’s 612 members, through TV, newspaper, the internet and at Richmond Club member luncheon meetings. Richmond Club members are a mixture of brokers, fund managers and analysts. In 2005 Mr. Beckett founded Liberty Fund Management Inc. www.libertyfundmanagement.com which owns the Liberty Micro-Cap Gold Index (Bloomberg ticker symbol LBTYMCGI). In 2007 Mr. Beckett became the host of Micro-Cap Stock Watch which is an internet TV program through Market New One (www.mn1.com ) in Dallas, Texas. Micro-Cap Stock Watch airs weekdays from 3:00PM – 3:30PM EST. Mr. Beckett is also a founder and Executive Director of The Limited Market Dealers Association of Canada www.lmdacanada.com.
Peter S. Barry is the Managing Director for Liberty Fund Management Inc... Mr. Barry started in the financial services sector as stockbroker and went on to be a Senior Investment Advisor with a major bank owned brokerage firm in Canada. Mr. Barry was instrumental in creating the first synergy between the bank branches and the bank brokerage arm, opening the door for double accounting, which gave the bank branch credit for introducing their clients to the assigned brokers in their region. Mr. Barry ran a substantial book and territory of bank branches.
In 1999 Mr. Barry left the retail side of the financial services and founded B3 Capital. B3 Capital is an international wholesale distribution network with established working relationships with the top product approval officer at Bank owned brokerage firms, Institutions and Pension Plans in Canada and the Caribbean. B3 Capital promotes unique alternative investments and has taken a Futures Trading Program from $135 million to just over $1 billion in assets under administration in just three years. Mr. Barry was instrumental in having the program approved for distribution in Canada and in the Caribbean, working with regulators and approval committees at Institutions and Pension Plans. Mr. Barry’s role as Managing Director for Liberty Fund Management will be to take the program from initial stages of operation and work with regulators, creating a distribution network with his sales force in Canada, Caribbean, Latin America and Europe.
Scott Barber is the Director of Operations for Liberty Fund Management Inc,. Mr. Barber started his career at TD Bank where he obtained a mutual fund and insurance licenses and was instrumental in getting his branch to the number one position, in the region, for sales and service. He then became a Credit and Administration Manager for VFC Inc., an automotive finance company, where he helped grow a company from 10 million to over 200 million in outstanding receivables in just over 5 years. He then went to Wells Fargo Financial as a Business Development Manager where he was able to grow a territory over 400% in just over two years. Scott has an honours Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance, as well, he earned the entrepreneurship award in University.
